Our handicapper Mike Kelsy, doesn't waste his time betting on favorites. We are always looking for value horses. Forget about 8/5. Very rarely will you ever see us bet an 8/5 to win...every once in a while but certainly in special circumstances. We may play a favorite sometimes with our 7-1 or 20-1 or 80-1. What is the point of risking $20 when you only stand to win $20? It's a losing proposition.
Our handicappers familiarity with the obscure owners and trainers ,and nose for breeding, often leads to sensational betting opportunities that are going to be overlooked by the betting public and the commercial style tipsters.
